| Product description
Dressed softwood timber batten supported at regular intervals by an
adjustable foot with a foam layer adhered to its underside.
Manufactured from:
■ Osmose treated timber, currently the most environmentally friendly
preservation available
■ Exclusive receiver and foot assembly
■ Composite of high density cross linked closed cell foams for
enhanced longevity, performance and durability whilst minimising
both deflection under load and water absorption.
Product features
The resilient feet have stepless adjustment by way of a threaded metal
insert within the batten body. This accommodates a robust threaded foot
assembly that is quickly and accurately adjusted by a drill/screwdriver.
Customer benefits
■ Designed to be a more effective and more engineered solution than
the levelling cradle and packer systems currently available
■ Highly precise threaded screw system
■ Removes the need for cradle and shims
■ Minimal component range required
■ On large projects batten arrangements and lengths can be
configured to requirements
■ Patent number EP1780351
■ Allows room for services
■ Lightweight partitions can be built off finished floor surface
■ Levelling batten can eliminate the need for a levelling screed, saving
in labour and material costs.
■ The timber used in the battens is always sourced from either FSC or PEFC accredited forests and supplied by a BM TRADA FSC Registered and Certificated company.
■ The foam used in the battens has Zero ODP and has a GWP of < 5%. |
